DB12 Volante brings the elegance of open-top motoring to the world’s first Super Tourer. It is the continuation of a Volante tradition that has expressed Aston Martin performance in the open air for more than six decades.
At its centre is a hand-built 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 671 HP and 590 lb-ft of torque. With 0-60 mph arriving in 3.6 seconds and a 202 mph top speed, it carries the same unmistakable performance intent as DB12—now with the sky in the experience.
A purposefully reinforced bonded-aluminium structure, dedicated damper tuning and a non-isolated steering column ensure that the Volante is not a softer alternative. It is a precise, powerful driver’s car shaped for the long way around.

Exterior
The K-fold roof opens in 14 seconds and can be closed at speeds up to 35 mph. When folded, its 260 mm stack height preserves the Volante’s clean rear profile while helping retain luggage space.
A larger single-vane DB grille increases open area by 56% to support cooling, while wider tracks, sculpted side strakes and 21-inch forged alloy wheels give the car its purposeful open-air stance.
Performance
A hand-built 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 produces 671 bhp and 590 lb-ft of torque. It launches DB12 Volante from 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds and on to a 202 mph top speed.
The rear mid-mounted ZF eight-speed automatic transmission works with an electronic differential and a 3.083:1 final-drive ratio. Five drive modes, intelligent adaptive dampers and a non-isolated steering column sharpen the connection between driver and road.
Interior
The cabin combines handcrafted materials with Aston Martin’s in-house infotainment system, centred on a 10.25-inch touchscreen and matching driver display. Physical controls retain direct access to key dynamic and climate functions.
Available Bowers & Wilkins audio brings 15 speakers and 1,170 watts to the open-top cabin. Wireless Apple CarPlay Ultra and natural voice control extend the car’s connected experience, subject to market availability.
